Cucamonga Valley Water District uses PlanetBids™, a secure, web-based vendor and bid management system, to solicit bids and proposals online. PlanetBids™ provides vendors with a centralized, easy-to-use platform to view bid opportunities, download documents, receive notifications, and submit bids electronically.
Vendor Registration
Only vendors registered in PlanetBids™ are eligible to submit bids for District solicitations.
To begin, click here to register. Once registration is complete, you may immediately access the Bid Opportunities tab to view active solicitations.
During registration, vendors are asked to select category codes that describe the goods and/or services they provide. Email notifications are based on these selections, so vendors are encouraged to choose all applicable categories.
Vendors are also encouraged to include an alternate contact email address to ensure timely receipt of District notifications.
After completing registration, you will receive a confirmation email containing your username and password. Please retain this email for your records. If you do not receive the confirmation, check your junk or spam folder, as firewall settings may block automated messages.
How to View and Submit Bids
When you receive an email notification for a District business opportunity:
1. Click the project title link in the email to access the Bid Information page.
2. Review the summary information to determine your interest.
3. Log in to download documents, submit questions, or submit a bid.
Vendors are responsible for reviewing and downloading all solicitation documents, including Terms and Conditions, General Provisions, agreements, and any issued addenda. It is the vendor’s responsibility to ensure they are working from the most current version of the bid documents.
Bids must be submitted on or before the deadline indicated in PlanetBids™. Late bids will not be accepted. Vendors may begin a bid submission at any time and may save, modify, or withdraw their bid up until the submission deadline. Submitted bid information is viewable only by the vendor prior to bid opening.
Upon award of a first contract with the District, the successful vendor will be required to submit a completed IRS Form W-9.
Forgot Your Username or Password?
If you forget your username or password, click “Forgot Password” on the PlanetBids™ login page and enter your registered email address. Your login credentials will be emailed to you.
