Rancho Cucamonga, CA -Community members are invited to join the Cucamonga Valley Water District (CVWD/District) virtually for its Earth Week & Open House Celebration. The District’s annual Earth Day & Open House celebration has gone virtual to connect with the community and provide fun and education for the whole family. This year’s highlights include open house videos featuring each department that makes up CVWD’s dedicated team, a trivia kahoot challenge, and a Succulent Savvy webinar. Additionally, attendees that participate in CVWD’s Earth Week activities will receive a Fats, Oils, and Grease collector bag, used to keep harmful liquids out of the drain. Attendees will also be entered into a raffle to win one of three high efficiency toilets plus installation provided by the San Antonio Water Company.
“While in-person activities are not yet available, we are excited to connect with customers virtually through our Earth Week & Open House Celebration,” shared CVWD Board President Randall James Reed. “CVWD is committed to environmental stewardship of natural resources, and we hope you will join us to learn more about the District as well as ways to be water savvy.”
CVWD’s virtual Earth Week & Open House will provide participants with valuable information, programs, and resources, as well as showcase the departments that contribute to providing Service Beyond Expectation to the community. Additionally, the Succulent Savvy webinar will offer tips on how to create and care for a succulent garden, while being water wise at your home.
